The storied Landon Lecture series at K-State has nabbed another big one -- President Bill Clinton.
The former prez is to speak at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan at 3:30 p.m. March 2.
In announcing the event, K-State president Jon Wefald thanked Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, herself a Democrat.
Going back to Richard Nixon, the lecture series has welcomed all recent chief executives, including the current President Bush.
Admission is free. Tickets are required. How members of the public can get tickets has yet to be announced.
