Believe me, I wish I were imbibing. Because then it would all make sense.

Gentle Ben

Is Morrison qualified to handle civil work? I think we just need to go back to where we were before. Give Morrison back to Johnson County and make Phill AG. You guys say he's not qualified for criminal work and now the question arises as to Morrison's competency in civil matters.

LOL At least Morrison has experience in a courtroom.

Gentle Ben

So has Kline. How about two wins at the Supreme Court for starters? Do any of you boobs have a clue as to what you're talking about?

I thought it was the ultimate joke that the first thing when Morrison got the AG's office he wanted to go out and do a court case. Earth to Paul, you're an administrator, hire litigators and run the office.

Talk about unqualified.

dingojoe

A little Celine Dion has never helped anything.

And of course, Kline can't go back to the AG office because he got his hindquarters handed to him in the last election. Democracy will kick Kline in the butt again in two years if he's foolish enough to run.

Gentle Ben

He certainly did. The big dummy stood up for principle and tried to enforce the law. For his troubles the media attacked him and the state's worst mass murderer spent a fortune supporting his opponent.

Kansas, as corrupt as you think it is.

Jeetzwillager

If Tiller's money could talk what would it being saying. I wonder if www.meadowlark.com has done a comparative study on Tiller's donations to see if there is a spiraling upward trend.

Oh, I know. Steve Miller Band, "Take the money and run."

Jeetzwillager

oops, that should have been www.ksmeadowlark.com

sorry for the typo -- spell checkers -- I know your favorite song is Faith Hill's "It matters to me"

Ben_Is_Not_Gentel

Does anyone else find 'Gentle' Ben's remarks biting and rude?

not ben, that's the point. the more he writes the less credibility he has. look over the blog, between him and jeetzwillar they are the only ones writing wonderful stuff about kline, and their bashing of morrison and the star have a very organized feel to it. phil should give them a raise they are doing so well, even after the rest of us have moved on to other topics, here they are writing about how bad everyone is to kline.

Gentle Ben

I don't care how rude you find my comments. Post something that's intelligent instead of the idiotic crap you've been posting and you'll get respect.

The reason we keep writing is that you don't address our arguments, you just keep posting idiotic replies like the one you just posted that says nothing. Nothing. We've responded substantively to every point that's been made and all you can come up with is the same old ad hominems that Kline's supporters don't have any credibility. Why, because you're too bigoted and narrow minded to take your own blinders off? My God, I feel like I'm in Mississippi listening to a bunch of crackers talk about black people when I read your posts.

Your lack of substantive responses should tell you something about who actually has credibility. And as far as paychecks go, I'm not the one who's parasitically trying to wheedle a paycheck out of someone who doesn't want me. That would be your pals, if not you, in the Idiot Eight. So much for honoring the gag order. Incidentally, it will be interesting to see who this judge is.

Kansas, as bigoted as you think it is.

Jeetzwillager

Dear anon 1-17-07, 10:00 am,

Frankly speaking, I'm tired of responding to anons, too.

I've disagreed with a poster named MonkeyHawk. But I sure appreciate that MonkeyHawk sticks to his position. I like that about Gentle Ben, too.

Both have a unique identity and different viewpoints. It doesn't matter to me, I still read everything they say.

Heck, I even went and looked at both opinions (Foulston's and McKinney's) and posted (paraphrased) "amazing, they both have great arguments. It will be a very tough decision for the Kansas Supreme Court." Did you read that post, or did you miss it?

would a fervent supporter of one side or the other take that balanced view? I doubt it. I'm done defending myself with "ghost" writers.

aren't you a "ghost" writer? spare everyone the balance view defense, we all can read exactly where your "balance" is coming from. same with ben

you two are just a couple of trolls, LOL ones at that!

i'll give you some credit--you at least don't do the rude, crude and overall meanness of ben, maybe if he actually spent time debating people rather than peeing down his leg he might have some credibility

Jeetzwillager

Anon 1-1-707, 10:00 am,

By the way, I also complimented the Star for helping to locate that information. Did you read that?

I can adjust, but I will not do it blindly.

Jeetzwillager

Anon,

Troll And LOL. I've not seen those words from adults, but I noticed my teenager writes like that.

Better get back to class. Public school, right? Teachers are clueless to what you're doing?

Yep, Ben is right.

Gentle Ben

Would someone like to show me where there's one substantive point in this drivel. I'm sorry, saying someone has no credibility, or making childish toilet jokes simply isn't a substitute for an intelligent argument that addresses the issue. Doesn't Morrison and the Idiot Eight have one intelligent defender out there, just one who would address the issues and perhaps even have the intelligence to create a screen name that's attached to an email address? I'm betting these pro-Idiot Eight posts are violations of the gag order, but the Democrat judge will never call them on it.

keep making my point boys, keep making my point

Gentle Ben

You have no point, other than trying to silence people who disagree with you. In most circles that's called fascism.

Kansas as corrupt and bigoted as you think it is.

Kansasdog

"Doesn't Morrison and the Idiot Eight have one intelligent defender out there, just one who would address the issues"...what issues, spare the vitriol, do you want addressed?

Don't waste your time, Kansasdog. Those points have been addressed over and over again, but ben didn't like our answers. So he keeps repeating his points, in the insane hope that someone other than jeetz will agree with him.

Go back and read the Kline threads and you will see what I mean.

doofus

GB:

If your theory is right, Kline is not acting to serve our community as DA, but instead is pursuing a petty, self-serving, personal agenda thats sole focus is continuing a losing battle that previously resulted in a complete whipping at the polls in November.

If Kline had the foresight and acumen to plan this mess as a "trap" for Morrison, he is spending time, energy, and county resources (taxpayer money) that should and must be spent protecting our community.

Unfortunately for your theory, Kline had Maxwell down arguing temporary orders on the case along with one of the young attorneys recently placed on staff. Not the AG's Office. Maxwell should be spending his time working on some of the "big" criminal cases Kline has told us he is going to handle for the community, not representing Kline on employment grievances. If he is squeezing Morrison, it is about time to get on with it, don't you think? Maybe Kline is too busy at the Ethics Commission today.

So, I am going to continue to give Kline the benefit of the doubt and continue to believe that he has no clue what he is doing and his leadership decsions are all reactionary in nature and lack premeditation or deliberate thought. The bulk of the evidence supports this position. But, hey, thanks for the alternative theory that he will put personal political battles ahead of trying to learn his new job protecting our community.

Gentle Ben

The question is why wasn't Morrison on the job? If Kline had failed to put in an appearance for a client, you would have questioned his competence.

Given all of the media vitriol I don't blame those of you in the legal community for wondering what you're going to have to deal with, and like you I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt - you know, presumption of innocence - until he has time to at least figure out what's going on. What i object to are the constant attempts by the Democrats to undermine the effectiveness of his office before he's even in the door.

And by all means reread the thread. You're absolutely right we've gone over these points time and time again. Give it a rest and let him do his job. You might be pleasantly surprised.

NikkiD

GB: how do you like your new job at the JOCO DA's office? Quite different from the AG's office, isn't it? Making all that good money now while the rest of the office does the work. Enjoy it while it lasts.
